FAQ
If I don't answer your question below, please feel free to use the contact form to send me a message.
Are all your pieces sterling silver?
Yes mostly, although I do sometimes add details in copper, brass, fine silver and gold. All precious metals are certified 100% recycled. I don't work in gold, although I do love a technique called Keum Boo, which involves burnishing very fine 23.5k gold foil onto fine silver so you may see that on some of my pieces! All item descriptions will list the materials used.
How long does it take for an order to ship?
3-4 business days, or if it's a made-to-order item then the processing time will be noted in the item description.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes absolutely! You're welcome to choose your preferred shipping option at check out, it will be well packaged for the journey, and I will let you know when it's shipped. Bear in mind shipping times are estimates, and the postal service can sometimes take longer than expected. The buyer is responsible for all customs duty or taxes payable.
What's your return or exchange policy?
Please check out my return policy here - I'm happy to accept returns and exchanges within 14 days if you change your mind. I can't accept returns on custom or one of a kind pieces however.
Can I pick up my order locally in the Comox Valley?
Sure! Select "pick up" at check out and we can arrange a convenient time to pick up from my home studio in Royston.
Do you accept custom/bespoke requests?
Yes I love working with my clients to make something one of a kind! Or if you like one of my pieces, and would like to request a bespoke version, this is also an option. I keep a couple of spots open each month for custom work, though these spots can fill up quickly, especially in the run up to Christmas. Please take a look through my website and Instagram to ensure that my aesthetic fits the style you're looking for. Custom pieces take additional design and making time, and items must be paid in full before they can be shipped. I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation, after which there is a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure a custom spot. Contact me if you're interested and we can talk!
Do you do repairs?
Yes I do offer repairs and alterations on any pieces you've purchased from me, contact me to make arrangements. I do not offer repairs on other jewellers' work.
Where do your materials come from?
I am careful to use certified 100% recycled precious metals, meaning that no new silver has to be mined to produce my jewellery. My packaging is also 100% post-consumer recycled. I prefer to work with reclaimed stones, or if purchasing I'll buy from local rockhounds (collectors of rocks and fossils) or trusted suppliers who know and share where their material comes from and who cuts it. I am passionate about fair wages for all, and protecting our planet is very close to my heart - read more about sustainability and ethics in my studio here.
Can I order a ring if I don't know the size I need?
Yes but I do need to know the ring size before I can start making the piece! Put a note in the order comments if you need help and I can recommend the best ways to work out the correct size. I can also mail a complimentary sizing tool once you've placed your order. I do offer one free resizing with every ring purchase, provided it's not a custom piece and there are no stones involved, but the buyer is responsible for the postage and packaging costs for the return.
